The Left-Hand Path
The Left-Hand Path is not the worship of evil, nor the service of darkness. The name comes from the vāmācāra of the East: the path that works with what the right hand refuses, the abyss, death, dissolution and the forces that ordinary religion fears, and turns them into instruments of sovereignty. The practitioner of the left hand bows to nothing; he does not serve the powers he invokes, he crosses them, and what he brings back is a self that no longer breaks. Its currents here are transmitted as teaching and empowerment together, so that the contact is established at once and the practitioner works under the protection of what he has mastered. Rare and powerful work, for the practitioner who prefers to master the night rather than to fear it.
