The Mahakali Kapalika Aghori Path

Aghora, "the non-terrible," is the southern face of Shiva, hymned in the Aghora mantra of the Taittiriya Aranyaka. The path that bears its name descends from the Kapalikas of the Bhairava Tantras. They took the Mahavrata, the great vow modelled on Bhairava himself, who wandered with Brahma's skull fixed to his hand until it fell at Kapalamochana in Kashi. The path was carried on through the Kaula lineages, the cremation grounds of Bengal and the Aghor line of Baba Kinaram in Varanasi. It is Vamachara in its purest form: the Aghori dissolves the very line between pure and impure in samarasya, the single taste of all things within the Goddess.

Its heart is Mahakali, Kali as Kala, Time devouring every form, united with her consort Mahakala. The Nagas, Naginis and Yakshinis are its guardians and allies. Kapala, khatvanga, phurba and trishul are its instruments.

The backbone of what I transmit is the Tibetan Kapalika Aghora lineage of Baba Prajna Shiva Kalidasa. It begins with the Kapalika Aghora Initiation and the Mahakali Shaktipat, followed by the foundation keys:

  • Kali Naga Shamanism
  • the Universal Shaman Empowerment
  • Fiery Kundalini
  • the Mahakali Bliss Deeksha
  • Kali Naga Seichim
  • the Power of the Kapala
  • the 1008 Names of Kali
  • Accessing the Silence and the Void
  • the secret Aghor Mantra

Around this core I also present teachings received from other masters and lines of the path.

Walked with devotion, the path grants protection, psychic sight and siddhis, command over spirits, and victory over enemies. It brings the magnetism and prosperity of the Goddess, and the swiftest road to liberation in this very life. Its way is Vira-bhava, the heroic disposition: mantra held in silence, every act made worship.

This is no path for the curious. It is a bond between guru and disciple, sustained by daily mantra, devotion and dakshina, and answered by the guidance and protection of the master. If you feel her call, write to me.

Jai Mahakali! Jai Mahakala!
