The Tibetan Kapalika Aghora Teachings of Baba Prajna Shiva Kalidasa
Baba Prajna Shiva Kalidasa was a master of the Tibetan Kapalika Aghora path. He held that Indian Aghora had been softened a century ago, while the Tibetan current of shamanism and sorcery kept the Kapalika rites in their original severity. He joined that current to the worship of Mahakali and the lore of the Nagas. He has left his body, yet he remains the true master of this lineage, and I transmit his teachings as he gave them.
For Kalidasa, Aghora means "filled with light, deeper than deep": Tantra carried to its apotheosis. The Vama Marga is the swift road, but it rests on inner purity. Only one who has overcome ignorance, greed and fear may cross the forbidden without being lost in it. The Aghori walks the Vira, the heroic way, learns to die while still alive, and keeps power in the Temple of Silence, because noise scatters energy and silence contains it.
His cosmology is Kali Naga Shamanism. Thirteen dimensions surround the earth and nine Underworld realms lie beneath it, held by the Nagas and Naginis under Mahakali, Mahakala and their son Ganesha, the first shaman.
The foundations are the three-part Kapalika Aghora Initiation opened by the Shaktipat of Mahakali, the Mahakali Left-Hand Path Initiation, Kali Naga Shamanic Power, the fifty-one Universal Shaman Empowerments, Awakening the Fiery Kundalini, Accessing the Silence and the Void, the 1,008 Names of Kali received through Raven Mahakali, and the secret Aghor Mantra of his line.
