I have walked the Left-Hand Path for more than twenty years, and the Death Star belongs to my own work. It was developed in stages, through two decades in the abysmal waters. Its decisive operation was this: the Beast of 666, Shugal-Choronzon, was summoned, a portal to the Abyss was opened, and the energy pouring through it was channelled into a sphere of life for forty-five minutes.

In the Qliphothic tradition, Choronzon is the Dweller in the Abyss and the Demon of Dispersion; Shugal is his untamed face. Known in Japanese witchcraft as Shagura, "Autumn Rain," Shugara holds as her primary path the Tunnel of Set, between the Black Moon of Lilith and the Black Sun. And at the first of the seven gates sleeps Tanin'iver, the blind black dragon, who regains its sight at the sixth.
